1 camel, 1 cow, 2 school desks and chairs, 3 toilets, 3 mosquito nets, 8 school books, 10 buckets, care for 10 vulnerable children, 25 trees, safe water for 120 people, 200 bars of soap, training for a teacher and have £1 left over.
In July 2009 Julia, Sarah, Dan Random and Kinders - the Nightcrawlers - walked 100 kilometres in 24 hours and 17 minutes.
Why?
To raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust. In return for months of training, trekking, moaning, footspas and telling ourselves it must be worth it, we asked you to give us some cash to pass on to two exceptional charities.
How much? We've raised well over £1,000 (although some of it was raised offline and doesn't show on our fundraising site). But there's still time for you to drop a few pennies in our pot: you can do so securely at JustGiving, or if you'd prefer to help out offline, you can pass donations on to any of us personally.
